As of Friday, the list has grown to 70 legends who will be back in Canton next month. The Pro Football Hall of Fame will soon unveil yet another new look. On August 8, the museum will hold an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to formally open the new Lamar Hunt Super Bowl Gallery. Irv Cross is the 2009 recipient of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award. The award, given annually by the Pro Football Hall of Fame, recognizes “long-time exceptional contributions to radio and television in professional football.” As the undeniable leader of the Bills, Ralph Wilson, Jr. continues to play a major role among National Football League franchise owners as the voice of reason, for his ability to tackle some of the NFLs toughest issues. The Class of 2009 Enshrinee is this week's guest on Countdown to Canton on Sirius NFL Radio. Class of 1996 enshrinee Lou Creekmur died Sunday at the age of 82. A stalwart for the Detroit Lions dominant teams of the 1950s, he earned All-NFL acclaim twice as a guard and four times at tackle. 1 1 1 1 1 3318 3308 3321 3322 3309
