Capital Fund:
What is a capital fund? The capital fund is used to accumulate the revenues and expenditures for the acquisition of or repair and replacement of the capital assets of the municipality. In general, capital assets refer to the building, equipment and infrastructure.

Endowment Fund:
What is an Endowment Fund? The Endowment Fund records gifts and bequests received with the stipulation that these funds be invested and the income earned be utilized for designated purposes. Investment and other income earned on endowment contributions are also recorded in this Fund.
