A grant provided by Hall of Famer John Madden subsidizes busing costs for schools/organizations with a large population of economically disadvantaged youth.
The initial criteria for selection is based upon the percentage of students/youth who take part in the national free and reduced lunch program in that school/organization - set at 40% or greater.
