Enshrinement Week Volunteer Committees

Starting on Thursday, August 4th with First Ball and ending on August 7th with the NFL/Hall of Fame Game, over 200,000 fans will descend upon Canton, Ohio to celebrate the Enshrinement of eight “Heroes of the Game” (Edward J. DeBartolo, Jr., Tony Dungy, Brett Favre, Kevin Greene, Marvin Harrison, Orlando Pace, Ken Stabler, and Dick Stanfel) into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  The Hall stages more than 40 events and functions relating to Enshrinement Week.  The Hall of Fame also serves as hosts to the Enshrinement Class (and their family and friends); the over 120 Gold Jackets (living Hall of Famers) numerous VIPs; football dignitaries, as well as football fans, both locally and from across the country.

For over 50 years, the Pro Football Hall of Fame has relied on volunteers to assist in putting on these great events, many of which are broadcast nationally. Over 700 volunteers are needed to staff the 13 committees that fulfill this responsibility.
