Floyd Little's jersey

This jersey was worn by Floyd Little during his final season with the Denver Broncos in 1975. Little was named as a senior nominee for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2010.
 
His stats during his final season in '75 illustrate how multi-dimensional of a threat Little was for the Broncos. He rushed 445 yards, caught 29 passes for 308 yards, and returned 16 kickoffs for 307 yards.

    I absolutely agree with Larry. I have been a lifelong Bronco fan and season ticket holder since 1977. I was there at that final game when "Folks" made us all so very proud. Add a 65+ year old lady with tears running down her face as I watched the happiness Floyd Little exhibited. Job well done and thanks for the great memories.

    Floyd I was a 8 year old boy when you stepped out from the South Stands for the 1st time and watched in awe as the man from Syracuse saved the Broncos from extinction. I remember watching you prowl the sidelines during those long years when you didn't know who would be handing off to you or blocking for you. I stood quietly holding my dad's hand as you signed an autograph for me too shy to speak to my hero at one of those many promotions you were part of and I attended a most of them... I ate a ton of Sigman hot dogs because you said they were soooo doggone good in fact a tradition at my family's house prior to going to a game or watch on our fuzzy TV was to munch down a few of those dogs. We sat and cried in that final game when yu gave us that final thrill and watched as Coach Ralston gave you the hug that all of Colorado wished they could give you. Well time has marched on and the memories fad but we will never forget you Floyd Little..I will sit here at my house near Fort Hood (I retired here after 20 yrs in the Army) and watch you wanting to be there and I promise it wont be the 53 year old man that cries joyfully for you but that little boy who so long ago was made to feel special by a real life superhero
