Groundbreaking

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Pro Football Hall of Fame President/Executive Director Steve Perry were joined by nearly 80 Hall of Famers and local dignitaries for a special groundbreaking ceremony on the museum’s front steps Friday morning.

Media and fans covered the groundbreaking as the Hall of Fame embarks on its largest-ever expansion. Construction begins later this month on the “Future 50” Expansion & Renovation Project. The $27 million project will be completed in time for the Hall of Fame’s 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2013.
