In 17 years as commissioner of the NFL, Tagliabue grew the league from 28 to 32 teams and supported the construction of 20 new stadiums.

He also created a league-wide internet network and the NFL Network.

If elected, Tagliabue would become the fourth NFL President/Commissioner enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
