QUEEN PAGEANT
Thursday, May 10, 7:00 p.m., Canton Palace Theatre
The Queen Pageant will take place on Thursday, May 10, at the Palace Theatre, where a Queen will be crowned along with six court members to coincide with the number of Enshrinees. The class of 2012 includes Jack Butler, Dermontti Dawson, Chris Doleman, Cortez Kennedy, Curtis Martin, and Willie Roaf.  The queen and court will represent the community at all Enshrinement Festival activities from Friday, July 20 through Monday, Aug. 6.

BALLOON CLASSIC/JACKSON-BELDEN FOOD FEST & FIREWORKS

There’s no more dynamic way to celebrate than with the BOOM, BOOM, POW of a fireworks extravaganza! All activities will take place in downtown Canton in the Cornerstone Square area of Tuscarawas Street and Walnut Avenue, and there will be plenty of family fun including rousing musical entertainment and a wide variety of food vendors, children’s activities including face painters and balloon twisters, and fun for all ages. COMMUNITY PARADE

Downtown Canton
On Sunday, July 29th, thousands of citizens are expected to enjoy an afternoon in the heart of downtown Canton with family and friends as a wide array of community youth groups, marching bands, antique vehicles, specialty units and a giant helium balloon participate in this spirit-filled community parade. Units begin on Market Avenue at 11th Street North, and travel south through the heart of the revitalized downtown. More information>>>

RIBS BURNOFF
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, August 1, 2, and 3, 11:00 a.m. daily, Stark County Fairgrounds

The 2012 Ribs Burn Off is sure to be another exciting one for those of all ages! Join us for lunch or dinner to enjoy finger-licking good food and fun! Rib masters from around the country compete for barbecue glory and cash prizes. Don’t worry – for those who don’t enjoy food of the BBQ persuasion, there will be a variety of other food vendors and sweet treats. Families will also enjoy a day full of tunes. The music will begin on the Day Stage and end on the main stage with national recording artists. Keep an eye out for announcements for the 2012 lineup of entertainers!

Nearly 2,000 enthusiastic youngsters line a two-mile route to pass an official NFL football from the site in downtown Canton where the National Football League was founded in 1920, to the front steps of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

FASHION SHOW LUNCHEON
Friday, August 3, 11:30 a.m., Memorial Civic Center and Cultural Center
Guests enjoy a delectable lunch, followed by a show featuring fashions running the gamut from casual to dressy and everything in between. Aproximately 150 of the season’s hottest fashions are provided by regional stores, showcased by male and female models. Ticket Information>>>

ENSHRINEES' GOLD JACKET DINNER
Friday, August 3, 5:15 p.m., Memorial Civic Center and Cultural Center
The spotlight will be shining brightly on the 2012 Class of Enshrinees during the prestigious Enshrinees' Gold Jacket Dinner on Friday night, August 3, 2012, when Jack Butler, Dermontti Dawson, Chris Doleman, Cortez Kennedy, Curtis Martin, and Willie Roaf will receive their Hall of Fame gold jacket. The evening will begin with a cocktail party and dinner prior to offering warm congratulations to the 2012 Class, along with nearly 80 returning Hall of Famers who are expected to be in Canton to celebrate and to welcome the newest members into their exclusive fraternity. FRIDAY NIGHT RECEPTION

Watch the Gold Jacket presentation in style at the Pro Football Hall of Fame during this special event. Guests will enjoy a delectable menu of all inclusive food, beer and wine from our buffet. When the presentation begins, you will be inside the Hall of Fame to watch the private, live television feed from the Gold Jacket presentation as the Class of 2012 dons their gold jackets for the first time. While inside, feel free to tour the hallowed hall and relive football’s greatest legends and moments.

TIMKEN GRAND PARADE
Saturday, August 4, 8:00 a.m., Downtown Canton
Nearly 200,000 spectators will line the 2.2 mile route to congratulate the 2012 Class of Enshrinees - Jack Butler, Dermontti Dawson, Chris Doleman, Cortez Kennedy, Curtis Martin, and Willie Roaf -  who will be joined by a large contingent of returning Hall of Famers. Watch as giant helium balloons, marching bands, specialty units, and fabulous floats entertain the crowd in the heart of downtown Canton. MOUNTED MEMORIES AUTOGRAPH SESSIONS
Saturday, August 4, Time: 12:00 noon
Football fans have the opportunity to preserve football memories with autographs from Pro Football Hall of Famers returning to Canton for the Enshrinement festivities. Multiple autograph sessions, presented by Mounted Memories, are held at the Pro Football Hall of Fame grounds, providing memories to last a lifetime.

ENSHRINEMENT CELEBRATION FAN PARTY
Saturday, August 4, 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., Pro Football Hall of Fame
This tailgate party is sure to get you geared up for the Enshrinement Ceremony. Enjoy all inclusive food, beer and wine as a DJ plays all of today’s hits, then make the short walk to Fawcett Stadium to watch six of football’s greatest players share their personal journey to greatness.

CLASS OF 2012 ENSHRINEMENT CEREMONY

The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Selection Committee held its annual election meeting on Sat. Feb. 4, 2012 and elected six individuals to the Class of 2012. Bringing the total number of members in the Hall of Fame to 273 are cornerback Jack Butler, center Dermontti Dawson, defensive end/linebacker Chris Doleman, defensive tackle Cortez Kennedy, running back Curtis Martin, and tackle Willie Roaf. PANINI CLASS OF 2012 AUTOGRAPH SESSION

DRUM CORPS INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
Monday, August 6, 6:30 p.m., Paul Brown Tiger Stadium (Massillon)

The 2012 Drum Corps International Competition promises to be an exciting show featuring eight of the best drum corps in America, including five of the top twelve. The corps will be at their peak performance levels just days before the world championships.  Precision formations of high-stepping marchers and vibrantly colored costumes are sure to thrill music fans of all ages.
