The following list includes the 217 documented sets of fathers and sons who've played professional football.
Hall of Famer Howie Long (left) spent 13 seasons in the National Football League as a defensive end with the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders from 1981-1993. Long’s sons, Chris (middle) and Kyle, inherited his football genes as both are making major contributions to their respective clubs. Chris is in his eighth year as a defensive end for the St. Louis Rams and Kyle is in his third year as a guard for the Chicago Bears.
