Steelers rookies visit Hall of Fame

06/05/2009

Drafted and free agent rookies from the Pittsburgh Steelers took a break from the football field and made a two-hour trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Friday.

The future NFL hopefuls were given a welcome by the Hall’s President/Executive Director Steve Perry and VP-Communications/Exhibits Joe Horrigan and then watched a specially prepared NFL Films presentation. From there, the group embarked on a guided tour to learn about the growth of pro football since 1892.

During a stop in the Hall of Fame Gallery, the rookies posed for a photo with the club founder and long-time owner Art Rooney (below).
