	1	Brett Favre	6,083	Career Notes: Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning finished the 2009 season with 393 completions. That total marks the most passes he's completed in a single season in his 12-year NFL career. In doing so, he moved up three spots from 6th to 3rd place all-time. Brett Favre continued his firm hold on the career record as he eclipsed the 6,000-completion milestone during the '09 season.
