The Thanksgiving night matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers marked the first time in the National Football League’s 92-season history that two brothers lined up on opposite sidelines as head coaches.

John Harbaugh led his Ravens to a 16-6 win over his younger brother Jim’s 49ers in the nationally televised game from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The family affair was commemorated after the game when the brothers hugged at midfield. Later, each coach signed a game used ball from the history-making night. The footballs were sent to the Hall of Fame and will be exhibited in the museum’s Pro Football Today Gallery.
