Rob Gronkowski's jersey

The New England Patriots jersey Rob Gronkowski wore when he tied the single-season NFL record for most touchdown receptions by a tight end is now part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s collection. The second-year player out of the University of Arizona logged a five-catch, 64-yard, two-TD effort against the Indianapolis Colts on December 4, 2011 to bring his season TD reception total to 14.

The performance tied him with Antonio Gates (2004) and Vernon Davis (2009) in the league’s record book. Gronkowski also added a rushing touchdown to help the Patriots defeat the Colts 31-24. No tight end has had at least two receiving touchdowns and a rushing TD in the same game since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger. Gronkowski broke the single-season record the next week when he pulled in two more TD grabs against the Washington Redskins.
