50,000-yard club

Only three players in the history of the National Football League have thrown for 50,000 yards in a career.

Dan Marino threw for a record 61,361 yards during his 17 seasons with the Miami Dolphins.  The Denver Broncos' John Elway, a member of the Hall’s Class of 2004, was the second QB in history to reach the 50,000-yard plateau.  Brett Favre joined the ranks in 2005.
