""

Pro Football Hall of Fame Guard Billy Shaw is the only person enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame who spent his entire career in the American Football League.

Why is it that Vito Babe Parilli is not honored on this site. He was one of the greatest quarter backs to ever grace the profesional football field. I know he was great because I played ball with him in 1954-1955. Is it because he had guts enough to start another league with Gino Cappelati and Jim Nance in order to bring more oportunity and variety into pro football? You don't even show him on the list of AFL players! He taught Bradshaw everything about quarterbacking and team play for the three tears he tutored him at Pittsburgh but you show nothing of that time! Why this negative bias toward the "Babe"? I would like to know!

keith lincoln should be in the hall of fame, and john hadl,( the pro hall) and dickie post should be in the chargers team hall anyway. keith was a great full back and dickie a great tail back, and john was as good as any qb.

I also believe their are a number of players from the AFL that have been overlooked. After all is this not the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and not the NFL Hall of Fame.

There are many AFL early players that do not receive proper recognition, and for me, one of the foremost is Abner Haynes of the Dallas Texans/Kansas City Chiefs. He was the leading rusher in the opening season and was first in rushing TD's for the first three years of the league. He was also an accomplished pass receiver, kickoff returner, and punt receiver.

It is a travesty that Jerry Kramer of the Green Bay Packers is not in the Hall of Fame. He kicked 3 field goals and an extra point in the 1962 NFL Title Game against the New York Giants and of course made the biggest and most famous block in NFL History to win the 1967 ICE BOWL. Notwithstanding he was voted to the all NFL team for the first 50 years. Something to think about.

Why is Ray Guy not in the Hall of Fame. He was the Best punter ever. He also kicked off and was third team quarterback on the Raiders. As a former offical, I was able to witness his ability to "boom it". Please let your Veterans Commitee at least put him up for a vote. Thanks.
