Highlighting the day-long recognition of our veterans and active military will be a special ceremony that is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Hall of Fame’s new Event Center.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame, in observance of Veterans Day, will host the annual Salute to Veterans, Celebrating Our Nation’s Heroes: A Tribute to Veterans and Active Duty Military on Saturday, Nov. 9.
The ceremony will open at 10:00 a.m. with the singing of the National Anthem and the presentation of the colors by a special color guard representing each of the different branches of military. The program will also feature a special speaker who has affiliations with both pro football and the military.
As a part of the day-long recognition, veterans, active duty, and reserve members of the U.S. armed forces and one guest, will be admitted free of charge to the Hall of Fame and receive a 10% discount in the Hall of Fame Store. Additionally, members of Gold Star Families and Blue Star Mothers will be admitted at no charge. All Hall of Fame visitors will receive a Pro Football Hall of Fame/American flag commemorative pin created in honor of our nation’s heroes.
