Foles’ Pro Bowl jersey lands in Canton

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles had a career year in 2013 as he captured the NFL’s passing title with a league-high 119.2 passer rating (Related: All-time 100-pt passers). His performance earned him his first Pro Bowl nod and he then capped the season with an Offensive MVP performance in the annual all-star game.

Foles nearly led Team Sanders to a win in the Pro Bowl played in Honolulu on Jan. 26, 2014 when he connected with Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron on a 12-yard TD pass with just under five minutes left in the game. He completed on 7 of 10 passes for 89 yards and was the only one of the six QBs in the game who did not throw an interception.

Foles personally donated his Pro Bowl jersey to the Hall of Fame. It is not the first memento from his memorable season to end up in Canton. His jersey and shoes he wore in Week 9 along with the ball he threw to become the seventh player in NFL history to throw seven touchdowns in a game was sent to the Hall of Fame in November and has been on exhibit in Pro Football Today Gallery.
