Dan Marino sets TD record

On December 17, 1984, Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino threw this football connecting with wide receiver Mark Clayton on a 63-yard touchdown play.  It was Marino’s 48th TD of the season and a then-single-season record.  It was also Clayton’s 18th touchdown reception, also a single-season record at the time.  In that same game, Marino also became the first quarterback to pass for more than 5,000 yards in a season (5,084).
