James Lofton's artifacts from record breaking career

James Lofton became the NFL’s all-time leader in receiving yardage (since broken) on Sept. 6, 1992 as a member of the Buffalo Bills. The gloves and shoes he wore and a ball he caught during the 40-7 season-opening win over the Los Angeles Rams were donated to the Hall of Fame after the game.

Lofton led all receivers that day with six catches for 56 yards. His final reception, a 4-yarder, from Frank Reich at the two-minute warning broke the mark held at the time by Steve Largent.
