HOF Shopping Midway

The Hall's "Midway" gets bigger and bigger each year.

Each summer, the Pro Football Hall of Fame's main parking lot is turned into a merchandise midway. As thousands of fans travel from around the country to attend the enshrinement ceremony on Saturday August 8 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game the following day, they are treated to a variety of items. This year's midway will be bigger and better with a great number of unique items made specifically to commemorate the Class of 2009 –Bob Hayes, Randall McDaniel, Bruce Smith, Derrick Thomas, Ralph Wilson, Jr. and Rod Woodson. Merchandise featuring the Buffalo Bills and Houston Oilers as they clash in the 2009 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game will also be on sale.

 

The Hall's museum store will open a 4,000 square foot tent in the parking lot that features unique Class of 2009 merchandise. In addition football fans will have access to merchandise of all 32 NFL teams, the Hall of Fame, and specially created items for the 2009 Hall of Fame Game between the Bills and the Titans (Oilers) AFL 50th Anniversary product will also be available.

Hours for Mall of Fame tents

Friday Aug. 7th: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Saturday Aug. 8th: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Sunday Aug. 9th: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The Hall's midway will also feature a 3,000 square foot tent that will house several NFL partners who will offer specially created merchandise for the 2009 enshrinement celebration.

The Highland Mint
As a Licensee of the NFL, The Highland Mint is commissioned by the Hall of Fame to Mint the Official Hall of Fame Flip Coin. The Highland Mint has minted the Official Super Bowl Flip Coin since 1994 and the Coin used for every Coin Toss at NFL Games since 2001. This Commemorative Coin is always popular due to its importance to the game and collectivity. The back of the HOF Game Coin lists the complete "Class of 2009" and the front features the HOF logo with the dueling helmets of the teams participating in the game.

As well the Highland Mint will be paying tribute to the inductees with their respective Induction Photo Mints. Both the Photo Mints and Flip Coins are Limited Editions of 2009 and will be available at The Midway.

Multiple Trading Card Pack Attack Events Planned for Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival
Pack Attack is a sports-collectibles carnival, game show, and circus all rolled into one and it takes place at the Pro Football Hall of Fame during Induction Weekend (Aug. 7-9). Pack Attack is perfect for families and the serious collector. Two events will be held Friday (1pm & 4pm) while Saturday and Sunday will have three events. Each Pack Attack is centered around five rounds of friendly pack wars in which participants rip open packs of card, search their cards for answers to general questions, and win prizes. After each round collectors try their luck at football trivia. Plus, each day features a Grand Prize.
