Isaac_BruceThe St. Louis Rams’ high-powered offense exploded for a record number of passing yards during the 2000 NFL season. One season after winning the Super Bowl title, the Rams racked up 5,232 net yards through the air en route to posting a 10-6 record.

Their aerial total that season broke the mark set by the Miami Dolphins in 1984. St. Louis and Miami remain the only teams ever to eclipse the 5,000-yard mark in a season.

Kurt Warner and Trent Green shared the quarterbacking duties during the record-setting season. Warner led the way by completing 235 of 347 passes for 3,429 yards and 21 touchdowns. Green was 145 of 240 for 2,063 yards with 16 scoring passes. Warner was sacked 20 times for 115 yards while Green lost 145 yards on 24 sacks.
