Reed's interception marks preserved at HOF

Reed_Ed_ActionBaltimore Ravens' safety Ed Reed was named the National Football League's 2004 Defensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press following a record-breaking season.

Reed's accomplishments have been preserved in Canton, Ohio as mementos from his record performances have been added to the Pro Football Hall of Fame's extensive collection.

Reeds RecordMost recently, the shoes he wore and the ball he intercepted (right) to set the single-season mark for interception return yardage has arrived in Canton. Earlier in the season, the shoes he wore on a NFL record 106-yard interception return was donated to the Hall of Fame.

Reed intercepted a league-high nine passes for an astonishing 358 yards this year. In three NFL seasons, the former first round pick from Miami, has accumulated 21 interceptions which he has returned for 657 yards and two touchdowns.
