Seniors, 62 years old and older, are invited to the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s seventh annual Senior Citizen’s Day on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 for free health screenings and admission to the museum.  The Hall of Fame’s hours that day are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Aultman Health Foundation will offer free general health screenings and informational booths on senior care throughout the building from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Free tests include cholesterol screenings*, triglycerides screenings*, blood sugar screenings*, diabetes risk assessments, breast cancer risk assessments, blood pressure screenings, cardiac risk assessments, body fat analysis, weight management tips, therapy services, and home safety tips.

In addition, staff from Sharon Lane Health Center, PrimeTime Seniors, PrimeTime 5-0 and PrimeTime Health Plan will be on site to provide information about their senior services.

No reservations are required for the health screenings.  However, for optimal results, individuals are recommended to fast 12-16 hours prior to screenings noted above with an asterisk.

Seniors are encouraged to tour the Hall of Fame and enjoy the many priceless artifacts that help tell pro football’s unique story.  Visitors will enjoy a stroll through history - from the Hall of Fame Gallery featuring the bronze busts of pro football’s elite, to the Enshrinee Mementos Room highlighting many interesting commemoratives from the 241 Hall of Famer members, to the many pieces of memorabilia from today’s stars.

In addition, seniors can enjoy several pro football presentations that take place in the exhibit areas throughout the day:

Pro Football’s Unusual Objects, 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Evolution of the Football Helmet, 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Adults and children will be admitted at the Hall of Fame’s regular admission rate of $16 for adults and $10 for children.
