The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 50 Years celebration focuses on the great growth of America’s favorite sport. So much has changed in the game of professional football in the decades since the NFL was founded in downtown Canton, Ohio in 1920.

Just like the game’s evolution, much growth has occurred to the Pro Football Hall of Fame over the past half century since we first opened our doors on Sept. 7, 1963. Each Saturday we’ll use this page to share some memorable images from the past 50 years of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
