The Class of 2008 enshrinee continues to give back to his alma mater and is a member of the university’s Board of Trustees. Monk’s dedication and excellence on the gridiron will be saluted on Oct. 5 during Syracuse University's Big East opener against Pittsburgh in the Carrier Dome at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

Art is also one of 14 players who will be inducted into the National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame on Dec. 4 in New York City. Minnesota Supreme Court Justice and Professional Football Hall of Fame defensive tackle ALAN PAGE kicked off Illinois State University’s 2012 Fall Speaker Series this past Monday on Sept. 17 during Constitution Week. Page’s speech entitled “Protections Afforded by our Constitution for Civic Engagement” took place at 3 p.m. in the Brown Ballroom of the Bone Student Center.

A Class of 1988 enshrinee, Page attended law school while still a player in the NFL. He also founded and runs the Page Foundation, which provides much-needed financial and mentoring assistance to underrepresented students.
