Ward jersey to Canton

The Pro Football Hall of Fame is home to the largest collection of football memorabilia in the entire world.

It continues to grow weekly with several significant pieces sent to Canton from milestone moments of the 2009 NFL Season.

The jersey worn by Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward in Week 3 arrived in Canton on Thursday. Ward, the team’s all-time leading receiver, hit the milestone of 10,000 receiving yards during that game against the Bengals in Cincinnati on Sept. 27, 2009.

With a catch in the second quarter he became the 21st player in NFL history to have more than 800 catches and 10,000 yards.
