January 5, 1997 (NFC Divisional Playoff) - CAROLINA 26, Dallas 17
In their first ever playoff game, the Panthers upset the defending Super Bowl champion Dallas Cowboys. The Carolina defense, led by Pro Bowl LB Sam Mills, stunned the Dallas offense by recording two sacks and three interceptions.
 

December 8, 1997 - Carolina 23, DALLAS 13
The Carolina offense kept the Dallas defense off balance as QB Kerry Collins went 16 of 28 through the air for 136 yards and 2 TDs. Rookie running back Fred Lane carried the ball 34 times for 138 yards.

October 4, 1998 - DALLAS 27, Carolina 20
The combined talent of receiver Michael Irvin and running back Emmitt Smith proved too much for the Carolina defense. Irvin caught 6 passes for 146 yards, and Smith carried the ball 21 times for 112 yards and a TD in the Cowboys victory.

October 1, 2000 - Dallas 16, CAROLINA 13 (OT)
This back-and-forth contest ended in overtime when Cowboys kicker Tim Seder booted the game-winning field goal from 24 yards out. Emmitt Smith highlighted the game by scoring his 150th career TD on an eight-yard run.
 

October 13, 2002 - DALLAS 14, Carolina 13
The Cowboys found themselves on the trailing end of a 13-point deficit with less than five minutes remaining. QB Quincy Carter led two scoring drives in the final minutes as Dallas pulled off the victory with just seconds to play.

January 3, 2004 (NFC Wildcard Game) - CAROLINA 29, Dallas 10
The Carolina offense was flawless behind the leadership of QB Jake Delhomme. He completed 18 of 29 passes for 237 yards and a TD. Panthers kicker John Kasay was successful on all five of his field goal attempts as Carolina rolled to a decisive victory over the Cowboys.
