The Rams' V.T. Smith raced 94 yards for a touchdown on a third quarter kickoff return to break a 14-14 tie and start the Rams on their way to a convincing victory in San Francisco.
1961 - Baltimore Colts 34, Minnesota Vikings 33
Steve Myhra nailed two field goals in the final two minutes including a 52-yarder on the final play of the game to give the hometown Colts the win. Lenny Moore had three touchdown receptions and scored a fourth TD on a 4-yard run.

Neal Colzie's 24-yard interception return set up Art Whittington's one-yard touchdown run for the win. Oakland quarterback Ken Stabler completed 25 of 43 passes, including 11 of 15 on the final two drives of regulation, to lead the Raiders.

The Packers bounced back from a 21-6 fourth quarter deficit to down the Falcons. Kicker Chris Jacke's 22-yard field goal with just less than two minutes remaining clinched the victory in Milwaukee.
