Here are recaps of several games over the years between the Bengals and Steelers.

November 22, 1970 – CINCINNATI 34, Pittsburgh 7
Bengals quarterback Virgil Carter threw a pair of touchdowns and enjoyed his third straight game without an interception while Paul Robinson rushed for 119 yards on 18 carries and scored one TD. The Steelers’ lone score came on a 1-yard run by “Frenchy” Fuqua, who carried 17 times for 119 yards for Pittsburgh.

November 2, 1975 – Pittsburgh 30, CINCINNATI 24
Franco Harris rushed for a then-career high 157 yards, and Terry Bradshaw threw 2 TDs to Lynn Swann  as the Steelers snapped the Bengals’ six-game winning streak. The Bengals rallied in the fourth quarter when QB Ken Anderson threw three TDs but two of his passes were intercepted by Mike Wagner that ended the Bengals hopes for a comeback.

September 21, 1980 – CINCINNATI 30, Pittsburgh 28
The Bengals defense forced six turnovers including a 28-yard interception TD return by Ray Griffin; and a crucial fumble recovery on a Steelers kickoff return midway through the fourth quarter that set up the winning field goal.

September 19, 1982 – PITTSBURGH 26, Cincinnati 20 (OT)
Pittsburgh forced overtime when Tom Beasley blocked a Jim Breech field goal attempt at the end of regulation. Then, John Stallworth scored on a 2-yard TD pass from Terry Bradshaw with just over one minute gone in the extra period to give the Steelers the win.

November 10, 1991 – Pittsburgh 33, CINCINNATI 27 (OT)
Neil O’Donnell connected with tight end Eric Green on a 26-yard touchdown pass at 6:32 of overtime to give the Steelers the victory. Boomer Esiason passed for 361 yards and 1 TD, and Eddie Brown had 10 catches for Cincinnati.

December 30, 2001 – CINCINNATI 26, Pittsburgh 23 (OT)
The Bengals rallied from 13 points down with 2:46 to play to tie it in regulation and kicker Neil Rackers kicked a 31-yard field goal in overtime for the win. The Bengals were led by Darnay Scott who had 113 yards receiving and Peter Warrick who contributed 109 yards. Plaxico Burress had 6 catches for 102 yards, and 2 TDs for Pittsburgh.
