The Enshrinement Stage is taking shape on Friday morning.

On Thursday morning construction began on the Ensrhinement Stage on Pro Football Hall of Fame Field at Fawcett Stadium.
More than 80 pro football legends will be on this stage on Saturday to welcome the CLass of 2009.
On thursday morning nearly 2,000 area youngsters formed a human chain 3-miles long to deliver an offical Wilson NFL football to the front steps of the Hall of Fame as part of First Play 2009.
The chain began at the Frank T. Bowe building in Downtown Canton, the site where the NFL was founded on Sept. 17, 1920. Greeting the kids is Canton mayor William J. Healy III.
Also walking the line were Hall of Famer Joe DeLamielleure with his wife and Army Sgt. Tommy Rieman.

The staging for NFL Network's set in Fawcett Stadium is being prepared.

A new banner was hung from the side of the Hall of Fame on Friday, July 31st.
A protective floor was placed over FieldTurn Recreation Field in anticipation of the extension for the Hall's Plaza Tent.
The retail tents are complete and awaiting merchandise.
The tents will include Hall of Fame merchandise as well as the popular Hall of Fame Midway where vendo0rs showcase their gear.
The framework for the tents begin to go up in the Hall's lower parking lot on Saturday, July 25.
The place for the Class of 2009 busts has been reserved in the Hall of Fame Gallery.
The Class of 2009 - Bob Hayes, Randall McDaniel, Bruce Smith, Derrick Thomas, Ralph Wilson, Jr., and Rod Woodson will be formally inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 8, 2009.
The banners represent the first visual evidence that the 2009 Enshrinement Festival is approaching.
