Joe and Gerri DeLamielleure host Ladies Night

09/09/2010

Hall of Fame guard Joe DeLamielleure and his wife Gerri spent Wednesday night teaching football to an audience of more than 200 women. Joe and Gerri were hosts of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 2nd Annual Football 101: Ladies Night.

The female guests enjoyed great food and beverage and then received a “crash course” on football. “Joe D”  gave a football tutorial on the Hall’s FieldTurf Field. Multiple stations were set up for guests to not only learn about the game’s strategy but also enjoy great stories from Joe’s Hall of Fame career with the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns. He gave insight into being a player in the National Football League while Gerri shared what it’s like to be married to a NFL player.

Football 101: Ladies Night is just one many special events held by the Pro Football Hall of Fame throughout the year. See our Event Calendar.
