Pro Football Hall of Fame Launches New Channel to Showcase Vast Video Content

For more than a half century, the Pro Football Hall of Fame has served as the repository of pro football history and the lessons the game teaches. The entertaining and inspiring stories from the country’s most popular sport will come to life through the new Pro Football Hall of Fame Channel that debuts on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018.

The Hall of Fame Channel, an online vault of videos plus more than 350 hours of live programming each month will go live at the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s MERLIN OLSEN Super Bowl Luncheon in Minneapolis at 12:30 PM ET (11:30 AM CT). Access to the new channel can be found at www.ProFootballHOF.com/HOF-Channel.

“The creation of the Hall of Fame Channel is historic for the Pro Football Hall of Fame as we will now provide greater access to content built around our important Mission to ‘Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve its History, Promotes its Values and Celebrate Excellence EVERYWHERE,’” stated Pro Football Hall of Fame President David Baker.

Fans will be a click away from a vast amount of content produced by the Hall of Fame including behind-the-scenes footage of the annual Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls, exclusive interviews with Hall of Famers and other NFL Legends, programming from the Hall’s events such as the Heart of a Hall of Famer, US Army Award for Excellence ceremonies, Ford Hometown Hall of Famer presentations, and the Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence ceremonies.

Additional content found on the Hall of Fame Channel includes enshrinement speeches, the recent World Youth Football Championships, original documentaries and feature films like Gleason, Greater, and’85 Bears: The Greatest Team in Football History.

Fans can tune in to the debut of the Hall of Fame Channel starting on Friday, Feb. 2 as Hall of Fame Productions presents a live five-camera production of the MERLIN OLSEN Super Bowl Luncheon featuring more than 50 Gold Jackets (living Hall of Famers) and numerous other NFL Legends. Iconic Minnesota Vikings coach BUD GRANT will be honored along with the team’s current owners, the Wilf Family. The two-hour telecast will include the premiere of the Hall of Fame Channel’s “Football’s Greatest Rivalries” feature on the Redskins and Cowboys along with “Undercover Bust” starring Hall of Famer MORTEN ANDERSEN in disguise as a Hall of Fame tour guide; and recap of the Electronic Football Championships that were held in Canton.

HOF Productions will be producing 30 hours of programming at Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis this week including Baker’s “Knock on the Door” when he lets the Class of 2018 know they have been elected to the Hall. Live streaming of numerous other events will be on the Hall of Fame Channel including a Ford Chalk Talk with TERRY BRADSHAW and JOHN RANDLE on Saturday; and “Measurement Monday,” the orientation for the Class of 2018 when the newly elected members are fitted for the Hall of Fame Gold Jacket, Bronzed Bust and the Ring of Excellence.
