I attended the Ojays Benefit concert there Aug 13, 2011. Which was a great concert, this was my 2nd time attending. I drove in from Cleveland. I was a upset about the parking situation(website states free parking)Upon arrival we were told that parking was for handicapped and buses only and that you may park in neighbors yards in which most charged $20. I think this was unfair to the people attending this event and there was a lot of complaining througout the crowd. We were told handicapped stickers had to be visible. How can an entire parking lot be just for handicapped?? Well upon leaving the concert in which i left a little early because i had to walk a half a mile to my car, i noticed while walking through the half filled parking lot that most of the cars DID NOT! have the stickers. So after all this fiasco why couldnt Fawcett Stadium charge $5-10 parking? The residents made tax free money. Im sure attendance will be down next year due to the parking situation. i know i will not attend again under these circumstances.
