Riddell_Red_Logo_150-38.jpgHall of Fame wide receiver Paul Warfield and current day Cleveland Browns’ Andra Davis and Braylon Edwards will be on hand at the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday June 11.  The trio is wrapping up the Hall’s popular The Best of Yesterday and Today autograph series.  Warfield, Davis, and Edwards will sign autographs from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

 Warfield

Warfield began and ended his Hall of Fame career with the Browns (1964-1969, 1976-1977) and starred for the Miami Dolphins from 1970-1974.  Known for his speed and great hands, he hauled in 427 catches and averaged a sensational 20.1 yards per reception during his career.   He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1983.

Davis, who was added to the Best of Yesterday and Today  lineup on Thursday, was the team's Most Valuable Player in 2003.  Originally drafted in the fifth round out of the University of Florida, Davis recorded a career high three interceptions last season despite missing five games with a knee injury.

Edwards, the Browns’ first round draft pick this year out of the University of Michigan, was the most prolific pass catcher in Wolverines history.  He set the school record with 252 receptions for 3,542 yards. His 39 career touchdown catches are the most ever in Big Ten history.

Each visitor attending the session will receive a souvenir BOY&T booklet and a ticket that entitles them to one autograph from Warfield, Davis, and Edwards. While every effort will be made to accommodate ticket holders, the autograph session will end promptly at 2:00 p.m.

Others who have participated in the 2005 series include Hall of Famers Carl Eller, Dan Hampton, and Leroy Kelly, and current day NFL stars Kenechi Udeze, Rudi Johnson, and Jamar Martin.
