The Final Brick
The first half of construction on Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium is nearing completion and will be ready for this year's Enshrinement. The final brick was laid today in the fan plaza by members of the Hall of Fame Village design team, Hall President David Baker and HOF board member and chairman of the board of the Belden Brick Company Bill Belden, Jr.
The Belden Brick Company continues its long history of support of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, from the first brick laid in 1963 to today when they placed the final brick in the HOF logo.
“We are proud to be a small part of the great new Pro Football Hall of Fame Village, a spectacular continuation of the Hall’s Excellence Everywhere” said Bill Belden, Jr, long time member of the Hall’s Board of Trustees.
Just four years ago the Belden family generously donated the HOF logo pavers that currently welcome guests to the Ralph Wilson Research and Preservation Center which also welcomes guests to the Hall of Fame Event Plaza.
Today we salute the Belden family and the Belden Brick company for preserving the history of one of the most iconic symbols in all of sports!
