Top 20 Series. There are many ways in which a player's success in the NFL is measured. One of the most obvious is a comparison of statistics. Each week during the NFL's regular season Profootballhof.com featured updated Top 20 lists for four main statistical categories.

CAREER NOTES. Detroit Lions kicker Jason Hanson made 32 field goals and 38 extra points to amass a season total of 134 points. In doing so, he passed John Carney to rank third all-time on the Top 20 scoring list. Hanson’s 2,150 career points are the most ever by a player with one franchise.
