The 2017 Hall of Fame Game will showcase the new Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium that was recently profiled among “13 Game-Changing NFL Stadiums” by Forbes. The stadium and entertainment complex is a major component of the $600 million Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village underway on the Hall’s campus. Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, upon its completion this summer, will feature a new NFL-caliber press box plus world-class hospitality experiences in a variety of settings that provide patrons with a spectacular view overlooking Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village.

The preseason classic takes place two days before the Class of 2017 is formally enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The annual Enshrinement Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 5 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. The Cowboys’ Owner/President/General Manager JERRY JONES and former Cardinals quarterback KURT WARNER are among the seven-man Class of 2017 that also includes MORTEN ANDERSEN, TERRELL DAVIS, KENNY EASLEY, JASON TAYLOR and LADAINIAN TOMLINSON.

Jones purchased the Cowboys in 1989 and quickly restored a winning tradition to the franchise. He has led the Cowboys to unprecedented success on and off the field. The Cowboys made seven playoff appearances, claimed six division titles and wins in Super Bowls XXVII, XVIII and XXX in Jones’ first decade of owning the team. Under his guidance, the team has advanced to the playoffs 13 times. In addition, his leadership in sports marketing and promotion has influenced the landscape of the NFL and America’s sports culture.

Warner’s Hall of Fame career was capped by five seasons in Arizona during which time he led the Cardinals to their first division title since 1975 and the franchise’s first-ever Super Bowl appearance in the 2008 season. The undrafted quarterback whose road to the NFL included stops in the Arena Football League and NFL Europe also played with the St. Louis Rams (1998-2003) and New York Giants (2004). Warner was named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player twice and the MVP of Super Bowl XXXIV when he led the Rams to victory with a then Super Bowl record 414 passing yards.
