What does it look like to attend Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls with an Official Ticket Package from Hall of Fame Experiences? Let’s take a look back at some of our favorite moments from an unforgettable experience at 2018 Enshrinement Week.
The first day of 2018 Enshrinement Week was topped off with the annual Hall of Fame Game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. In honor of 2018 Enshrinees Ray Lewis and Brian Urlacher, the Baltimore Ravens faced the Chicago Bears in the game that officially kicked off the NFL season.
The Ravens defeated the Bears in the preseason matchup, 17-16. This game will be remembered as the first time that fans got to see quarterback Lamar Jackson take the field for the Ravens.
One of the best, most unique parts of attending Enshrinement Week with HOF Experiences is the multiple parties held throughout the four days.
Everything kicked off on Thursday with the VIP Kickoff Tailgate Party, which was a celebration to start the NFL season with the Hall of Fame Game. Fans got to enjoy food and drinks while interacting with the Gold Jacket guests in attendance. Attendees included Kellen Winslow, Jonathan Ogden, Will Shields and Dick Butkus.
For those that didn’t attend the Gold Jacket Ceremony on Friday, the Gold Jacket Watch Party was held at the Hall of Fame — providing an unforgettable experience in one of the most storied venues in the sport.
The biggest party of the weekend was on Saturday night during the Gold Jacket VIP Tailgate Party. Guests kicked off the 2018 Enshrinement Ceremony by mingling with returning Hall of Famers, including Randall McDaniel, Carl Eller, Rayfield Wright, Billy Shaw and Bobby Bell. After taking photos with the plethora of Hall of Famers, guests enjoyed selections from a premium buffet and open bar.
If you want to see some of the best imagery of the week, there’s no better place to look than the Gold Jacket Walk. Before the Enshrinement Ceremony officially kicked off on Saturday night, returning Hall of Famers walked down the red carpet and were greeted by their beloved fans upon their return to Canton.
The main event of 2018 Enshrinement Week didn’t disappoint on Saturday night. In front of a massive crowd, the 2018 Enshrinees each took their turn coming up on stage to give their Enshrinement Speech and receive their Bronze Busts.
The speeches had everything you could ask for — emotion, humor and a walk down memory lane as the Enshrinees told some of the best stories from their historic careers.
The Class of 2018 was comprised of:
HOF Experiences guests received a special experience the morning after the 2018 Enshrinement Ceremony, attending the Breakfast with the Busts at the Hall of Fame. After enjoying a delicious, complimentary breakfast, guests had the privilege of being the first to see the Class of 2018 Bronze Busts. It was one of the most photo-worthy moments of the weekend.
As the cherry on top for a memorable time in Canton, guests got to see three-time Grammy Winner Maroon 5 light up Tom Benson Stadium.
The performance definitely had a lasting impact, as Maroon 5 went on to headline the 2019 Super Bowl halftime show just months later!
