Class of 2018 Enshrinee BRIAN URLACHER has selected his former coach Bob Babich as his presenter for his Enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this August. Babich was Urlacher’s coach from 2004-2012, serving as a linebacker coach, assistant head coach and the defensive coordinator for various stints while with the Bears. Urlacher earned 2005 NFL Defensive Player of the Year under Babich’s watch. Currently, Babich is entering his second year as the linebackers coach for the Buffalo Bills.

“I am so humbled by the offer that Brian gave me to present him,” Babich shared. “He is such a good guy and was such a good player, but even more so than that, he was a great person to be around.”

Urlacher was the final member of the Class of 2018 to name his presenter. The other presenters who have been announced in recent weeks include:

  • BOBBY BEATHARD – Joe Gibbs, Hall of Fame coach
  • ROBERT BRAZILE – Robert Brazile, Sr., father
  • BRIAN DAWKINS – Troy Vincent, friend and former teammate
  • JERRY KRAMER – Alicia Kramer, daughter
  • RAY LEWIS – Diaymon Lewis, daughter
  • RANDY MOSS – Thaddeus Moss, son
  • TERRELL OWENS – George Stewart, former wide receivers coach with 49ers

Presenters join the Enshrinees on stage at the Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner on Friday, Aug. 3 at the Canton Memorial Civic Center. Members of the Class of 2018 will be greeted by a gauntlet of Gold Jackets (living Hall of Famers). Presenters will then place the Hall of Fame Gold Jacket on their respective Enshrinee during what promises to be an emotional moment on the eve of the Enshrinement.

Presenters are featured in video presentations to introduce their respective Enshrinee and then join them on stage to unveil the bronze bust at the Enshrinement Ceremony at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 4.
