Helping to fulfill its mission to promote the values taught through playing the game of football, the Pro Football Hall of Fame opened an exhibit titled, simply, “Character.”Amy Trask. Norma Hunt. Patricia Rooney. Martha Ford. Virginia McCasky. Sarah Thomas. Sandra Douglass Morgan. 

These names represent a few of the many influential women in the game of pro football. Each has left her fingerprints on the game.

In a male-dominated sport, it took COURAGE for these women to step into the football world and make a difference while blazing a trail for others to follow.
