Character: Resilience

Exhibits Published on : 1/6/2025

Helping to fulfill its mission to promote the values taught through playing the game of football, the Pro Football Hall of Fame opened an exhibit titled, simply, “Character.”Sept. 11, 2001, is a day this country will never forget – a day when lives were lost and the history of our country changed forever.

That week, Commissioner PAUL TAGLIABUE, along with representatives from the NFLPA, decided to cancel games and focus on healing as a country.

What happened the next week is something football fans should be proud of – no matter their favorite team. NFL fans were RESILIENT, coming together in support of their teams and our country.
