Favre Fever Gaining Momentum

The countdown is on. In less than a month, Green Bay’s beloved son Brett Favre will be officially Enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

“Cheese Heads” from around the globe are gearing up for Enshrinement weekend on Aug. 4-7 to witness an important part of Favre’s storied career.

Event USA in Ashwaubenon, Wis. confirmed they have already sold close to 350 hotel packages for the weekend in Canton, Ohio.

Also, Titletown Tickets in Ashwaubenon, reported that when they first offered a bus trip to Canton in May, it sold out fast.

Titletown Ticket travel manager Donna Petermann has been hard at work fielding emails and preparing to escort 48 fans on the bus trip that offers guests transportation, hotel accommodations and tickets to all of the Hall of Fame events. Those events include the Concert for Legends featuring Tim McGraw, the Enshrinement Ceremony and the NFL/Hall of Fame Game match-up between the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts.

“Everyone is excited,” said Petermann, who spoke with Jeff Alexander of WBAY.com. “Two of the ladies that we will be picking up in Milwaukee actually live in Iowa, and they’re driving to Milwaukee to get on the bus.”

Alexander also caught up with Sharon Balducci, who is a die-heart Favre fan and one of the first guests to sign up for the trip immediately.

“I’m going, I’m not going to miss this,” exclaimed Balducci. I’m very excited.”

With all of the festivities surrounding Enshrinement 2016, one thing is certain, Packers fans want to witness their quarterback, No. 4 cap off his incredible career.

“He is why they’re going,” concluded Peterman.
