The Pro Football Hall of Fame, consistent with its mission to “Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve its History, Promote its Values and Celebrate Excellence EVERYWHERE,” will salute the military throughout the month of November.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame will provide free museum admission and parking to all veterans and active military plus a guest throughout November. This offer is good for all United States active duty including National Guard Reservists and retired military service members who show a valid military ID at the Hall’s Ticket Office.

The Hall of Fame’s annual Veterans Day Event takes place on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. This year’s program is entitled “Honoring the Nation’s Heroes” and will include special guest of honor U.S. Army Veteran and Pittsburgh Steelers legend Rocky Bleier. The longtime running back and four-time Super Bowl Champion who courageously overcame a severe foot injury, losing part of his right foot, during his service in the Vietnam War, will share more about his story of service at the event. In addition, several Medal of Honor Recipients will be on hand for the program.

Beginning at 10 a.m., a Veteran’s Services Expo will take place at the Hall. Vendors will be on hand to educate Veterans of the services available to them. Those vendors include Operation Homefront, VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System, New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, The Patriot Project, and Stark County Veterans Service Commission.

Several promotions are available on the day of the event including:

  • Blue Star Mothers and Gold Star Families receive free admission.
  • All who attend the event will receive a special commemorative pin and challenge coin, while supplies last.
  • Guests who attend the event will receive a voucher for 20% off in the Hall of Fame Store.
  • Guests will also enjoy a display of military related artifacts in a special exhibit created for the Veterans Day event.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Store is selling several items from the 2018 Salute to Service collection, including knit hats, sideline hats, sideline legend performance long sleeve tees, and sideline therma pullover hoodies featuring a variety of NFL team logos. The NFL does not profit from the sale of Salute to Service products. Charitable contributions are donated to the NFL’s military nonprofit partners including the USO, Wounded Warrior Project and Pat Tillman Foundation. The store also sells special pins featuring the Hall of Fame’s logo and the American flag. The Hall of Fame Store is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Guests wishing just to visit the Hall of Fame Store do not need to pay Museum admission or parking.
