New Artifact Displays from the Centennial Class of 2020

Jason Aikens, curator at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, recently installed new display cases at the Hall that include additional artifacts from the Centennial Class of 2020. These new items can be seen in the HOF Interactive Area, near the current Class of 2020 Locker Exhibit.

Among the featured artifacts are a variety of items from footballs, jerseys and warmups to awards, telegrams and film reels. The following items will be featured on the Hall of Fame’s social platforms this week:

Monday: Paul Tagliabue

The former NFL commissioner was the recipient of a doll of himself from the Canadian Football League.

Tuesday: Mac Speedie

Two game balls from the Pro Bowl and the 1949 AAFC Conference Championship Game. Also, his Army World War II service card and ration coupons.

Wednesday: Jimbo Covert and Edgerrin James

Covert’s 1982 sweater from the Kodak All America Team and James’ jersey when he surpassed 15,000 career rushing yards.

Thursday: Steve Atwater and Isaac Bruce

Atwater’s Arkansas helmet and Bruce’s letter jacket from Dillard High in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Friday: Winston Hill

Hill’s family donated his personal New York Jets equipment trunk.

Saturday: Cliff Harris, Bobby Dillon and Steve Hutchinson

Harris’ last two contracts with the Cowboys, Dillon’s 1950 white NFL football used for night games and Hutchinson’s locker name plate from Super Bowl XL.
