The 1958 NFL Championship game pitted the Baltimore Colts against the New York Giants in what would become one of the NFL's most memorable games. Alan Ameche's plunge into the end zone in overtime catapulted the Colts and the National Football League into the national spotlight.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame commemorates this historic game with a display in the exhibition rotunda.  Among the artifacts on display is a piece of the goalpost, the bass drum used by the Colts marching band, and a uniform worn by Hall of Famer Raymond Berry.
