The state of Ohio is celebrating its 200th birthday in 2003, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame is throwing an early birthday party. The Hall of Fame is the site for the casting of the Stark County bell.

Friday May 17:The Pro Football Hall of Fame's parking lot is taking shape for Saturday and Sunday's festival celebrating Ohio's Bicentennial. Nearly 60 vendors will be on hand to entertain visitors. Dignitaries ranging from politicians to Hall of Famers Len Dawson, Dan Dierdorf, and Dante Lavelli will also take part in the festivities. Local youths will pass ingots to start of the bellcasting process on Saturday afternoon.
