For Gibson Miller, an 11- year old from Canton, the 2006 Pro Football Hall of Fame festivities will be extra special. Gibson has been selected the official McDonald's Mascot for the 2006 AFC-NFC Pro Football Hall of Fame Game on August 6, featuring the Oakland Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles.

2006_MascotIn a drawing held at the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Wednesday July 26, 2006, Gibson was among the 17 finalists who were selected from each of the participating McDonald's Restaurants in Canton, Massillon, Louisville, and Alliance. Each finalist received a McDonald's gift bag, pins and a Canton Bicentennial T-shirt from the Mayor of Canton as well as a Hall of Fame Game t-shirt.

The McDonald's official Hall of Fame Game Mascot, a 6th grader at Canton Country Day School, and three other family members will be guests at the pre-enshrinement Hall of Fame brunch, enshrinement, pre-game tailgate, and the Hall of Fame game. In addition, Gibson will pose for a photograph with the 2006 Hall of Fame Enshrinees and will be introduced during pre-game ceremonies of the Hall of Fame Game.
