Hockey Hall assists Pro Football Hall of Fame with special exhibit in Toronto
The Pro Football Hall of Fame has partnered with the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto for a special exhibit on display this weekend. The exhibit, that focuses heavily on the Super Bowl, is part of the promotion around the Buffalo Bills’ series of games in Toronto. The Bills host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday at Toronto’s Rogers Centre. It marks the first NFL regular season game ever played in Canada.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame contacted its counterparts at the Hockey Hall to acquire the professional services of the museum’s curatorial staff. The hockey curators will create displays and manage the exhibit of football memorabilia. A variety of artifacts were shipped from Canton to Toronto and will be on display in the exhibit that opens to the public at a Fan Tailgate Party beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7.
Here is a sampling of football mementos that will be on display for fans to see prior to kickoff of the Dolphins-Bills game.
