Pete Rozelle's typewriter

The typewriter is from Hall of Famer Pete Rozelle's office at the NFL headquarters in New York. The late NFL Commissioner, who began his football career as a PR man for the Los Angeles Rams, used the typewriter throughout his career.

Rozelle, who passed away in 1996, has long been regarded as the greatest commissioner of any major professional sports league. Among perhaps is biggest contribution to the sport is the growth of the Super Bowl into an international extravaganza.

The typewriter was donated to the Pro Football Hall of Fame by Pete’s daughter Anne Marie Bratton.
