McDaniel receives Hall of Fame ring
{GALLERY}Class of 2009 enshrinee Randall McDaniel was the center of attention during halftime of the Minnesota Vikings win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football.
The former Vikings guard, who was enshrined into the Hall of Fame in early August, received his Hall of Fame ring in front of the Metrodome crowd during a ceremony held on the field at halftime. Pro Football Hall of Fame President/Executive Director Steve Perry presented the ring to McDaniel.
The ring is the third of three iconic symbols that represent McDaniel’s election to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He received his gold Hall of Fame jacket at the annual Enshrinees Dinner held on the eve of his induction. His bronze bust was unveiled at the enshrinement ceremony held at Canton’s Fawcett Stadium.
